The Faces of Iowa State project continues a portrait tradition at Iowa State University that began in the 1930s. Revived in the 1990s and launched as a public initiative in 2016, it honors leaders, faculty, and alumni whose contributions shaped the university, using portraiture to connect its history with future generations.
