A New World

A New World: 600 BCE–600 CE examines life across ancient civilizations by showcasing objects from the permanent collection of the Brunnier Art Museum. Through artifacts from China, Greece, Rome, Egypt, and the Near East, the exhibition reveals how people thrived, created, and built complex societies without modern conveniences. By encouraging visitors to reflect on both ancient objects and the items in their own daily lives, the exhibition connects past and present, prompting deeper consideration of history, craftsmanship, and human ingenuity.
