Bio
Edie Hunter serves as Business Administrator for University Museums at Iowa State University, managing museum operations, budgeting, and planning. Hunter joined Iowa State University in 2016 as an accountant and completed her Master's degree in History in 2022 while working full-time, taking advantage of the university's tuition reimbursement program.
As a historian specializing in 20th century U.S. social and cultural history, she has presented at the Iowa History Conference, the Ames Historical Society, and had several papers accepted at various academic conferences. She authored "A Short History of The Knoll," used by docents during tours of what was once the residence for Iowa State University presidents, from 1901-2025.
